Peaceful Closure...
We celebrated my Mom's 75 years of life yesterday. All of her children were home and all of her grandchildren...It was worth the wait to be together...but honestly very long from Dec 10th to Jan 19th... I feel like I can move on to memories other than her passing. The great news is that my family has many many wonderful memories to cherish of our time with her. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease but my Mom managed to hang on to an internal smile that we will always remember. Life for her was always about her family ... She will be missed...
I'm sure it was worth the wait even though I'm sure it was hard. It is a testament to her love of family that everyone made the effort to come together to say goodbye. Thinking of you and your family – celebrate the memories.

You have your Mom's smile!!!!!!!!!
Even though I never meet her, I can tell what a fabulous person that she was.
You always spoke of her with kindness and respect. You show us through your wonderful pictures, stories and memories the special person that she was.
She is so proud of you!!!!!!!
Let your memories live on, keep sharing them with us, so that we can experience her through your eyes.
God bless your family.

You do have her smile! I am glad that the memories you all have of her are fond ones and that you all got to share them together...It was probably uplifting to know that she was special to all of you.

Paulette,
You and your Family are a Testament to what ALL families should be and or want to be. Thank you for reminding us of this. Your Mom will live on through your Scrapbooks and stories and through you. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandmom and person. I did not have the privelege of meeting her but I know it to be true.
Sending Cyber Hugs to You,
Love,
Myleta

Paulette, Your memories of your mom will be your biggest treasure. How fortunate that you have chosen to scrapbook and carry that treasure forward to your children.
